Problem: The world went through precarious times amid the pandemic, and Walmart wanted to create a sense of togetherness with its audience, especially during the Christmas season.
Solution: During this time, we needed some familiarity and what’s more nostalgic than a classic Christmas story known since childhood? We partnered with The Seuss Estate and got Walmart Associates involved in creating a rendition of the classic book, How The Grinch Stole Christmas! Viewers were transported to a digital safe space, where they could gather with their family and enjoy an entertaining rendition of a Christmas favorite.
